This is the way of the righteous
Those who in goodness delight
planted in strength by the True source,
filled by the water of life,

2. See the Samaritan woman
filling her jars at the well,
Christ knows her need and approaches,
words of salvation to tell.
He is the promised Messiah
He is the infinite source,
pouring out life-giving water
"Go and be thirsty no more!
Go and be thirsty no more!"
3. We like the woman are thirsting,
standing beside our own wells.
Grant us your life-giving water
that we may need nothing else.
You are the fount of our longing,
You are the source of our days.
